From 17-18 September 2019, faith leaders from the Bahai, Christian, Muslim and Traditional faiths met in Johannesburg, South Africa for a validation session of three policy briefs on sexual reproductive health rights (SRHR).

Hosted by ACT Ubumbano in partnership with the Faith to Action Network, the workshop interrogated, amended and adopted three theologically-grounded policy briefs on Teenage Pregnancy, SRHR and Gender Based Violence. The briefs are the product of earlier discussions between July and August this year with faith leaders from the Southern African region. They will inform advocacy strategies of their faith institutions in their work with congregations and communities, and in their engagement in national, regional and international platforms.
