Brief excerpt of David Ntseng from the Church Land Programme on how the plight of Abahlali invites one’s humanity to wake up.

On 8 July 2020, the second ACT Ubumbano Learning Hub convened to reflect on solidarity and speaking out as a human practice to confront injustice within societies. The session discussed the Church Land Programme and Abahlali baseMjondolo’s campaign to protest violations by the eThekwini municipality against community members in three informal settlements in KZN.
