Tshwane Hub is part of the Global Shapers Community. The Global Shapers Community is an initiative of the World Economic Forum. South Africa has Hubs in Johannesburg, Soweto, Durban, Stellenbosch, and Cape Town. The Hubs are engaged in a variety of projects focused on education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, the environment and climate change, and welfare. The Community establishes and empowers youth-led initiatives focused on solution-building, policy-making, and sustainable change in our communities and country. Since 2017, Shapers have directly benefited almost 2 million people through locally-led projects and reached or mobilized more than 11 million people! With 46,000 days volunteered, changed 37 policies and advanced all 17 Sustainable Development Goals worldwide.
