Mzuzu Young Voices

Mzuzu Young Voices is a youth-led organization located in Mzuzu City in the northern part of Malawi. We work on creating spaces for the active engagement of young people in governance structures and youth empowerment. We work with young people between 10-30 years, ranging from fresh college graduates, secondary school students, primary school learners, and vulnerable youth in communities.

The organization focuses on;

  • Advocating for youth-friendly policies and structures
  • Gender equality and empowering boys and girls by investing in the education sector,
  • Strengthening linkages with health and wellbeing of young people especially adolescent girls and young women and finally,
  • Integrating technological solutions into the global challenges that the youth face in their day-to-day lives.

Our vision is to improve the well-being of young people especially, orphans and vulnerable children so that they have equal opportunities to participate in governance structures and achieve their full potential through increased access to quality formal and informal education, vocational and entrepreneurial skill-building, WASH, and health information and services.
