ACT Ubumbano, together with a number of global partner organisations, will be hosting an inter-religious convention in Johannesburg on 4-6 December 2023. It is expected that 150 people from faith institutions around the world will share and learn from each other’s experiences and social justice work. New connections will be made and old relations strengthened, and solidarity action planned with those who are facing challenging situations.

The sub-themes of the Convention are:

• Advancing women’s rights and gender justice
• Faith partnering for justice and peace
• Co-creating freedom of belief and inclusive communities
