In June this year, ACT Ubumbano was formally welcomed as a full voting member of the ACT Alliance, a global coalition of more than 140 faith based organisations working on humanitarian aid, gender and climate justice, migration and displacement, and peace and security, in supporting local communities in over 120 countries.  The Alliance’s global strategy, “Putting People First” resonates with ACT Ubumbano’s commitment to being in solidarity with struggles for dignity. ACT Alliance and ACT Ubumbano share a vision for a planet where everyone lives in peace, relationships are just, where the inherent dignity of all human beings is safeguarded, communities support each other, and the planet stays protected for new generations.
