Who We Are
The Tshwane Hub is a youth led volunteer initiative dedicated to driving impactful change through projects focused on education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, climate action, and community welfare. We empower young leaders to design and implement solutions, influence policy, and promote sustainable development within our communities and across the country.
Since 2017, the Global Shapers community has positively impacted nearly 2 million people through locally led initiatives and mobilized over 11 million individuals worldwide. With more than 46,000 volunteer days contributed, Shapers have influenced 37 policies and advanced all 17 Sustainable Development Goals, demonstrating the power of youth driven action to create lasting global change.

What We Do
The Tshwane Hub implements impactful projects guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring our work contributes to lasting social and environmental progress. Our initiatives focus on improving education outcomes by supporting subject performance and academic success in selected schools. We advance gender equality by empowering women through skills development and advocacy programmes that promote independence and opportunity. Through climate action initiatives, we raise awareness about climate change while equipping young people with knowledge and skills to participate in the growing green economy. Above all, we empower youth to take meaningful action on issues affecting their communities, fostering leadership, innovation, and sustainable change.
