Who We Are
Since its establishment in 2020, LIFESA has made meaningful progress in advancing the rights, health, and wellbeing of female sex workers in Liwonde and surrounding communities. We are committed to promoting dignity, safety, and access to essential health services for marginalized women.
As part of a national movement alongside civil society partners, LIFESA actively advocates for safe abortion access as a fundamental human right. Through community dialogues and stakeholder engagement, we raise awareness about the serious health risks associated with unsafe abortions, which disproportionately affect vulnerable and marginalized women.
