Pumla Mabizela

Pumla is a social development practitioner with over 30 years of experience working in Southern Africa. She has used her strategic and leadership skills in supporting the work of partners in diverse areas, including HIV/AIDS, climate change, agroecology, public health, and advancing human rights particularly of marginalised communities. Pumla has qualifications in Project Management, Human Resource Management, and Social Development, and is the Project Officer in the team.

Thabo Chaba

Thabo has a passion for life and getting the best out of people and organisational systems. His administrative and project management experience in the non-profit sector help him find ways of making a difference in the lives of people, and in improving organisational processes. Thabo is the Logistics Officer of ACT Ubumbano. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Human Resource Management, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management.

Ashley Green-Thompson

Ashley has extensive experience in the region doing work in the non-profit sector that is rooted in a commitment to social justice activism. He has worked across sectors, from the nascent electoral processes of 1994 through formal Church structures and in philanthropy. Ashley is the Director of ACT Ubumbano, and has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in African Politics and Law.
