Who We Are

GWEN is dedicated to serving adolescent girls and young women. It primarily operates in Mashonaland Province and Chitungwiza. GWEN adopts a community-focused and layered programming model that ensures interventions remain manageable and impactful at all times. Established in 2015, GWEN builds on years of grassroots engagement and community work. GWEN is committed to empowering AGYW across all spheres of life while adhering to laws that promote, protect, and provide for the rights of AGYW in Zimbabwe.

What We Do (Key Focus Areas)

Through its community hub in Seke, GWEN provides access to a fully equipped library and computer lab. The hub offers internet connectivity, edutainment, and study materials to keep girls and young women informed and connected to the global digital community. This hub is also expanding to offer critical services for survivors of sexual and gender-based violence, reinforcing GWEN’s role as both a haven and a catalyst for change.
